Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roxanne or Roxie as we call her is a nine year old Poodle who weighs 10 pounds. After owning her for nine years, she was surrendered to the shelter dirty and matted. Roxie is a wonderful, sweet dog who gets along well with the other small dogs in her foster home. She likes to play with toys and with the other dogs. She especially loves a good game of tug-of-war. She loves to lounge around laying in a dog bed. Roxie is housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door. She sleeps in a crate at night, jumps in eagerly to get her special treat, and then does not make a sound. Roxie is in good health and has had a dental. She would make a terrific companion for a very lucky person.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
