Welcome Wally! This wonderful kid wants his new family to know these 10 things about him:
1. I am about 3 years old and I am a formentino Cane Corso.
2. Like many dogs of my breed, I can be wary of strangers, and I need to be introduced to new people and visitors slowly. Once I feel comfortable, though, I’m a total lovebug!
3. I have a condition known as Wobbler Syndrome, which is being well-managed with daily medication and bi-monthly acupuncture. Thanks to my current treatment, I can get around just fine and can run and jump like any other dog.
4. I am very sweet and gentle, and would love to live in a home with children older than 10.
5. I’m not sure how I feel about felines, but I think I could cohabitate with kitties after a slow and proper introduction. I haven’t met very many small or medium sized dogs since coming to rescue, but I’m pretty sure I could be friends with them.
6. I have been friendly with the other dogs I have met at the Bullpen, and I would like to find a home that had a larger, laid-back dog that I could hang out with.
7. I enjoying being around people, and playing and exploring outside.
8. I am housebroken and I know how to use a doggy door. I am also good on a leash and in a crate.
9. Because of my condition, the vet doesn’t think I should be neutered. If my new family has other dogs, they must be fixed.
10. I have a microchip, am current on vaccinations and HW negative.
