My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darling Daria is ready to find her family, and wants her new people to know these 10 things about her:

1. I am about 3.5 years old and I am a Presa Canario.

2. I am a very happy and social girl, and I like almost everyone that I meet.

3. I think a home with kids older than 7 would be a good fit, as long as the children had experience/training with giant breed dogs.

4. I’m not sure how I feel about felines, but I might be able to cohabitate with kitties after a slow and proper introduction.

5. I haven’t met very many small or medium sized dogs since coming to rescue, but I might be able to live in a home with petite pups.

6. I have been friendly with the other dogs that I have met at the Bullpen, and I would like to find a home that had a larger, laid-back male dog.

7. I enjoying being around people, taking naps, and playing and exploring outside.

8. I am housebroken and I know how to use a doggy door. I am also crate-trained and good on a leash.

9. I am current on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped.

10. I’ve started heartworm treatment, and will come with all the medicine needed to complete it at my new home.

Ready to give Daria the forever home of her dreams? Fill out our Adoption Application, located at www.bullpenrescue.org under the 'work with us' tab.

**We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.**
