Charming Cornelius is looking for his forever family, and wants his new people to know these 10 things about him:
1. I am about 4 years old and I am a Dogue de Bordeaux.
2. Like many dogs of my breed, I can be wary of strangers, and I need to be introduced to new people and visitors slowly. Once I feel comfortable, though, I’m a total lovebug!
3. I am very sweet and gentle, and would love to live in a home with children older than 10.
4. I’m not sure how I feel about felines, but I think I could cohabitate with kitties after a slow and proper introduction.
5. I haven’t met very many small or medium sized dogs since coming to rescue, but I might be able to live in a home with petite pups.
6. I have been friendly with the other dogs that I have met at the Bullpen, and I would like to find a home that had a larger, laid-back female dog.
7. I enjoying being around people, lounging, and playing and exploring outside.
8. I am housebroken and I know how to use a doggy door. I am also good on a leash and in a crate.
9. I have some issues with incontinence. Although they have significantly improved since I was neutered and started on daily medication, we are still working to find the cause of my pee problems. I am hopeful that I’ll be able to resolve my troubles before I find my forever, but if my new family would be willing to love me the way I am, that would be okay by me too!
10. I am current on vaccinations, microchipped, and HW negative.
