My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Butter because my fur is soft as butter and the color of butterscotch, except with stripes. I’m a year old and have had some adventures in my short life. I lived in a very active household with other cats and dogs. Unfortunately, my owners were evicted, and I managed to sneak out of the house when the Animal Control Officers came to get us. But being the resourceful boy that I am, I snuck back into the house and someone eventually discovered I was there. All of this turned out well because a nice lady came and got me and I came to AWLMC so they can help find me a new home.

I like to sit in cubes and tunnels so I can spring into action and chase things, even the other cats! As far as people go, I can be a little bit shy until I get to know you and your house so I might hide some at first. But then, watch out! I will want to be in your lap and be petted as I knead and loudly purr about how happy I am. I also like to sleep with my humans. I am not a picky eater and I have a favorite and well-loved tent I’d like to bring with me to my new home.
