Lou is a male, 1-2 year old street rescue from Brooklyn with a heart of gold! We don't know his backstory, but one day he followed his caretakers indoors and has been enjoying VIP life ever since. He can often be found sleeping in his cat cave with his favorite blanket or making lots of air muffins. He also enjoys rolling around in dried catnip. He loves human companionship and deep skritches, and will often rub up against legs and arms to greet you or lie beside you.

Wondering about his left ear? He was originally neutered and returned outside as a community cat, before his rescuers knew he was friendly. This is how the ASPCA lets people know he's been fixed. So he has a little extra "street cat cred" from his time outdoors.

Lou has been neutered, is vaccinated for FVRCP & Rabies, and is negative for both FIV & FeLV.

We would prefer that he go to a home with another young companion so he always has a friend to play with, even while you're asleep or at work.
