My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Louie Louie is an 8.5 month old retriever mix pup. He is full of love and energy. Louie was rescued on January 30th where he was wandering around town in a rural area. What a doll he turned out to be! He is a smart fellow....LOVES to play fetch and if you want to throw the ball all day he will go after it. He is good on leash, is crate-trained and knows "sit, down and paw." He loves learning new command and would excel at agility training.

Louie's DNA results said 62.5% Golden Retriever and 37.5 % herding breed. He is a mix of several great breeds and a very nice and loving dog.

Louie weighs 40 pounds and is probably at his adult weight. He would love an active family where he could hike and play in the water - this boy LOVES water....the water bowl, the water hose, a puddle. A home where he could swim would be grand.

He is great with other dogs and adores people. He lives with three cats and plays with the one that will play with him. He will chase a cat, but he won't hurt one. His new home should have a cat that is dog savvy.
