Here's what the humans have to say about me:
In 2014 a senior citizen adopted Mr. Rogers, and he has been her constant companion since his adoption. Mr. Rogers has been his owners best and forever caregiver; having saved her life more than she did his. He is between 13 and 15 years of age. His owner’s condition has deteriorated over the years, and she had to move to an adult family home for care. Mr. Rogers accompanied his owner to live in this home. He has fit well into the routine and is very attentive and loving with the other residents. Mr. Rogers loves to sit on laps and is a “true lap dog.” He is quite active and can jump from a lap to a bed without a problem. This little dog rarely barks except to announce when a visitor arrives. He likes to be in the middle of the action. When he needs to go “potty,” he goes to the door. As far as children, Mr. Rogers likes them once he gets to know them. His true love is for seniors. Mr. Rogers is healthy and only gets a monthly shot for yeast and allergies. He eats Hills’ Science Diet for allergies.
Mr. Roger’s owner now has dementia, can no longer speak, and does not recognize her family. Mr. Rogers likes to sit on his owner’s lap all day long, but he has become a little too protective so some of the nursing staff find it hard to provide her care. The residential center has asked that Mr. Rogers find a new home.
