MEET BUTTERCUP! ADOPTION FEE - $100.00

Buttercup is a five to six year-old Chihuahua mix. She looks like Feist or some breed of terrier mix in her as well.

Buttercup is all UTD on her vetting and ready for her forever family!

Buttercup is the type of dog that would be best suited with a laid back dog. She is best suited as an only pet. She likes things on her terms and is not one to be cuddled and handled. Possibly with time in her new home. She will become more trusting and welcome being handled. She will cuddle next to her foster mom and just likes to be in her own space. If you are interested in a pup that can be grumpy and will give a warning to her person that she just wants her space. Buttercup is the girl for you!

Buttercup is one of our rescues that will need a very patient and understanding adopter that will give her time to settle in and just give her space. She did have surgery prior to coming to rescue for mammary tumors and has no signs of cancer to date! This may be why she does not like to be handled too much. Some pups that have had this surgery have residual pain at times.

Buttercup does not require a crate and just wants to lay next to her person on the sofa. Again, she is not a pup for someone that wants a cuddle bug lap dog. We do not know exactly what her background as she was an owner surrender and not much information was obtained on her.

Buttercup loves her blankets and sweaters! Going for a car ride? Buttercup will be happy to come along! Going to bed for the night? Buttercup loves sleeping in the big bed!
