My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to this southern gentleman, Bleu. He is a 2-year-old bluetick hound mix that is just as goofy as can be. He loves playing with his toys and does, occasionally, like to steal a sock from the laundry. He loves running and playing with other dogs his size and even tries to play with the cats. He is crate trained, housebroken, walks well on a leash and already knows some basic commands. He doesn’t do well with small children so a home with some active adults would be perfect for him. He would be a great hiking buddy for the outdoorsy type of owner. He can be full of himself sometimes so he needs a dog savvy owner who can put him in his place and show him the ropes of family life. **All Compassion in Action dogs must be adopted by families willing to have their pets be a part of their family and must be allowed inside—especially at night. No dog is to be put on a “tie-out” or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced yard.
