Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chou is a 1.9-year-old, black and tan female, Shiba Inu. This cutie was surrendered to a VA beach shelter after having multiple issues ingesting things around the house. We have Chou's vet history that shows she ingested everything from spicy chicken wings, candies, cigarette butts and more. We were expecting a destructive dog but have had zero issues with Chou! We also do not leave out human meals in reach of any of our foster dogs so prevention goes a long way. As for other items, Chou has free reign of the first level of the home and is not crated at night and we have never had any issues. Chou is a fairly active dog and enjoys playing with other dogs and cuddling on the couch with her favorite people. She has not had any accidents and the only issue her foster mom identified was digging up flowers in the garden that she recently planted. This was easily directed to appropriate digging in the dog sandbox.
Chou is a healthy and happy young Shiba Inu who loves people and enjoys an active life to keep her entertained.
