My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The scoop on Miss Ava from her foster mom:
She loves to lay on her chair, BUT it has to be in the sun. When she eats it can only be caviar. Kidding... she has to have rice and beef with a little of Pedigree packet, otherwise, she'll just eat around the dry, yucky stuff! The bed needs to be turned down before she goes into her crate or she will sit smack up against the door on the smallest portion of bed. I think she snores a little at night, but I am sure she will not admit to that. And please do not call her a "garbage digger". She said that garbage just knocked itself over and jumped out of the bag.
And now from Ava herself:
My bodyguard, Oscar, who has since been adopted, protects me when I am out and about. I am pretty chill and try not to have too much contact with my other foster mates. NO, I did not start the fight with Babe. We were playing, okay. And then I went to smell her backside and she got all uppity and in my face. I was only protecting myself. Right now I have dragged myself and my toys up on the chair to watch my soap operas. Any other questions, you can refer to my agent. Good Day.
So all funny stuff aside, Ava is a sweet little beagle girl. She was the runt of her litter and was bottle fed. She remained small, weighing in at a mere 15 pounds. Her 9th birthday will be this May. She does get along well with most other dogs. Ava had other ideas about the horse at her foster mom's home. She'll bark at the horse until it moves, then she runs the other way. Cats are a maybe, as she may chase. Ava has lived her whole life in an outside hutch and now decided that the home life is more to her liking! She is doing very well living inside and has become quite the diva! Feel free to email with your interests. We will have the foster mom give you a call. Best scoop her up quick because she is a precious little package!
