Here's what the humans have to say about me:
EMILIA PUPDATE! - May 10th, 2019 - My foster mom says I am doing really well! I still get a bit spooked on busy streets, so please keep me close if our walks take place in the city! Sudden movements startle me, but I'm learning to keep calm in these situations, and I get better and better every day! Because of my poor sight, I still bump into walls and doors, but this doesn't phase me one bit! I go bump, and then I just keep going with a smile! I love laying in the sun, so I'm excited for sunny summer days ahead! Now that you've read my progress report, keep reading for more information to find out if you're the right human for me! I hope you are!

Hi, I'm Emilia! Don't I have a beautiful name? And don't I have the most beautiful face to match? I think so! I am a bundle of joy, if I do say so myself, and I hope that I can share my joy with you fur-ever!
I am house trained and crate trained, and I ride really well in cars, so let's see where the open road takes us, shall we?? I know you're already falling in love with me, I can tell!
I do pull on leash, so I will need some correction in this area, but I'm super smart, and learn really quickly, so I think I'll be a star on my leash in no time!
I am low energy, so I have low exercise needs, but I will still need a couple of good long walks each day! I am still a dog, after all!
I don't have any separation anxiety, so I'll wait patiently at home for you while you're at work, or running errands. I am very shy and quiet, too, so you won't need to worry about me bothering the neighbours while you're gone! This means I would be okay living in an apartment as well as a house! I might bark a little if someone knocks at the door, but that's the extent of it!
I could live with other dogs, but I am usually submissive to them, so I would be just as okay being the only dog in your family! I've never been around cats, so I'm really not sure how I would react to them! Probably best if I go to a home without them, just to be on the safe side!
A couple of quirks I have:
- If it's raining outside, you'll have to take me out and set me on the grass or I will not go to the bathroom.
- On our walks, I love to stop and smell the roses (LITERALLY!), so I will stop to smell all kinds of things, and will just do what I want!
- I sometimes run into things due to a little lack of sight.
- I get startled if a car drives by really fast while we are on our walks, but I'm getting better with this!
All these quirks aside, I love my humans, and the minute I see you when you get home, I am so excited, and I will wag my tail all the live long day, just so I can cover you with kisses and cuddles! Who doesn't want to come home to all this love, am I right?!
I sure hope that you're my fur-ever human! Please reach out to my rescue, and get the adoption process started, so we can just meet and fall in love already! I can't wait!
