Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brutus is a wonderful dog. He is sweet, very lovable and enjoys playing. He is a very big lap dog : ) We got him 5 years ago before I got pregnant with our first kid. We were excited that our kids would grow up with a sweet, protective dog. Since my husband and I did not have dogs growing up, we wanted to give the opportunity for our kids to have a family pet. Unfortunately though it hasn't worked out like that. Due to Brutus' size, the kids are mostly scared of him. He loves to play but because he is very big, he often (without meaning to) knocks the kids down. This has caused the kids to not want Brutus to come around them. Brutus is also scared of thunder and high wind. He seems to have a lot of anxiety about noises. He was a rescue that was given to us so maybe something happened to him before us. If it storms or rains hard at night, he cries loudly and barks which wakes up the kids. Brutus can handle storms/loud noises much better if someone is with him.
