My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a sweet little girl who recently gave birth to 6 pups! She was a good mom to those pups who will soon be heading north to be adopted. It is now her turn to also travel north to find a forever home where she will be loved and appreciated.

Daisy is about 2 years of age and is full grown weighing around 20 pounds. She is a miniature Schnauzer mix with a medium length coat mixed with gray and tan colors. Her dark eyes and black nose accent her face. The word schnauzer means muzzle in German, and her muzzle helps define her cute look.

Typical of Schnauzers she is lively and friendly. She loves everyone she meets, be it cats, dogs, or kids! Daisy may be small but her personality makes up for that size.

Daisy was pregnant with those 6 pups when she was found as a stray. She was taken to a shelter but was never claimed. Luckily, a rescue organization pulled her from that high kill shelter and placed her in a foster home. That turned out to be a blessing, as she and her puppies got the care and attention they needed.

Daisy and her foster mom have been working on house and crate training. She is making progress. After she is adopted she will need to continue that training with someone who will provide the right guidance mixed with patience and the time to practice. Daisy has mastered leash walking and loves to go for walks.

It is amazing is that she has not lost her confidence even though she spent time as a stray. She is a survivor who has put the past behind her and is ready to move on to a forever home. If Daisy is the one for you, read on!

The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
