Maggie's current caretaker took her in from her terminally ill owner 3 years ago promising her that Maggie would never go to an animal shelter. Maggie, now 13, had always been an only cat and never adjusted to her caretaker's multi-cat household. Her caretaker is moving back home to Germany this summer, so Maggie needs a loving indoor-only home, where she can live out her life as Kitty Queen without being bullied by any other pets (not sure how she is with children, but suspect that she's not very good with small kids).

She is very people-oriented and loves cuddling. She doesn't like rough petting or to be picked up, but doesn't bite or scratch. She most loves to be close to her person with a paw on your shoulder. Maggie is still very playful for her age and will run through the house meowing and carrying a toy. She is very happy to curl up on a screened porch and bird watch.
