My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Kaye's favorite pastimes are playing with her brother Mikey and chewing on any kind of toy or chew. She also loves playing with her foster mom's young daughter and getting attention from her, so she would do great with a family with young kids. Kaye truly is a sweetheart. She is a bit shy around new people and can be aloof and independent at times, but she is a love bug once she gets to know you. She does not like the rain at all (something she will have to adjust to living in the PNW), but she does love hanging out on the couch.

She would love a home with children, but really anyone that has the patience to let her warm up to you and give her all the loves she needs would do just fine. She would do well in any home setting, as long as she gets the love, exercise, attention and training she needs. She loves to play with or without you. You could describe her as quite the independent explorer. We are pretty sure she would love to go hiking or on long walks so she can smell new smells and see new things. If Kaye sounds like the girl for you, please see the instructions below for how to apply to meet and potentially adopt Kaye.

As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs.  Therefore,  we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file  . Please complete our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org/forms as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteer staff. Kaye's Adoption Fee is $450 which includes transportation, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
