Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Betzy is an approx 3 yr old Great Pyrenees. She and Walter, prob littermates, were dumped and living out of a gas station dumpster in a rural area of Oklahoma. Knowing how social these two are and how many people they would have tried to approach day after day looking for help is just heart breaking; but fortunately a nice citizen did answer their plea and got them to the safety of the animal shelter. Both were 40-50 lbs underweight, dehydrated, and heart worm positive. They have now been with their GPRO foster for 3 months and have completed heart worm treatment, are healthy, and ready to find their fur-ever homes!
Betzy is a super loving, easy going gal that gets along with anyone and everyone including kids, dogs and cats. She is well mannered indoors, house trained, crate trained, and good on leash. She would do fine in almost any home setting, her only restriction is she needs 5ft or taller fencing as she and Walter have went over short fencing at their foster home early on so we know she's capable. She and Walter would enjoy staying together, but they are not bonded and would be fine going to separate homes, either with other dogs or as single dogs.
Betzy is fully vetted including spayed, fully vaccinated, completed the 3 injection immiticide heart worm treatment, utd on prev meds, microchipped, and dewormed.
