Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Shannon the Havanese! He is fully vetted ready to start is new life!
Shannon is 3 years old (3/20/16) and was recently neutered and also had a dental so he has fresh clean breath for his new adopter! 👅🦷
Shannon is staring to play with toys! He is mostly potty trained. He does not have any accidents with belly band on. He will pee still in house once on a great while. He is playing with his fosters dogs and tolerates cats. He doesn't really interact with thr cat. He just ignores them.
Shannon’s foster reports that he is really smart. He turns his head side to side when you talk to him and listens. You still have to play cat and mouse with him to catch him to put on leash. He's not as stiff when being held (as he was when first rescued) and lets you love on him until he's tired of it and then he wants down. Shannon sleeps on his foster’s bed and stays right by his foster when she is watching tv. He doesn't like to get in chair with her but has been standing up and smelling his foster mom and Jasmine (his foster sister). He is working on letting people pick him up and his adopter should be patient and continue helping him with this.
Shannon is great on leash and doesn't like to stay out too long. He gets his business done and wants to go back indoors. He will sit and look at you when he's ready to come in.
Shannon has not been around kids. He barks at company when they first arrive but stops quickly and settles in to watch the humans. He will stay in the room but will not approach new visitors yet. His foster says “He is going to make someone a great dog!”
