Behaviors-sweet, cuddly lap dog. Does not like men, will bark and run away. Would be happiest in a home with a woman who can be her person. She is a “Velcro” dog, wants to be touching you or at your feet. She would make the best companion. Needs work on a leash.
Cats: unknown, don’t anticipate it being an issue
Other dogs: good with all sizes
Children: ok, but would do best with a calmer, quieter home
Adults: Loves her female person, warms up to other women quickly. Is not comfortable with men.
Potty Training Progress: Good at going potty outside as long as you take her out regularly, wants you to be with her outside.
Great things about Mutsu: Wants to love on and be with her person. Plays with toys, loves chewing on bones. Likes car rides.

The first step is completing an application. Once approved you will be put on a waiting list and contacted when a dog matching your requests becomes available. We first offer the dog for adoption to their foster family, then to approved applicants on file, and lastly to the public through online listings.
We require an application with a veterinary and three personal references. If you do not currently have a veterinarian because you do not currently own a pet, we will contact your personal references in place of a vet reference.
After you're matched with a dog, you complete our contract, and submit the appropriate adoption donation:
• HavaHeart Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 charity and 100% of money raised is spent on the pups we serve.
• All HavaHeart adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, parasite free, have been spayed / neutered, and microchipped.
