This is Maisie from Alabama. The facts: she is approx 16 months, weighs 23lbs., housebroke, good with other dogs and walks well on the leash. Oh, and she adores car rides! We believe she is a Spitz mix, maybe with a Sheltie!
Now her story.......Sandra was going to her local government funded shelter, because there was a red alert that a bull dog puppy was out of time (for space). Sandra got there right after they opened, thankfully another rescue had just picked up the pup. As she was standing in the lobby, a woman walked in crying that she had to relinquish the dog she had adopted 6 weeks prior. The woman’s senior cat was not doing well with the addition of the dog. Instead of putting her back in the shelter she had just left. She left with Sandra, never walking into the kennels! So Maisie has been to the vet and ready for her forever home. She can arrive anywhere in the northeast on Saturday 5/18/19. Interested? Ask for an application.
