Iris is a 5 year old Havanese that is fully vetted and ready to meet her forever family. Iris is a sweet soul that loves to be around humans, but on her own terms. She is pretty skittish, and is still decompressing after her mill trauma. Trusting humans is hard for her, but she is making progress. Iris would benefit from a patient family that is willing to work with her shyness and not push her beyond her comfort level. Another dog in the home may be what Iris needs to help her come out of her shell. She does well on a leash, but getting it on her can be a bit of a challenge. Once relaxed, Iris does like to snuggle.
