Zena has been at MHS for 3 years now and we know if someone took a chance on her, she'd adjust well to living in a home.
Zena came to MHS as a mama cat in 2019 and all her babies went got adopted. Zena was initially textbook feral when she first came to our shelter, but she has proved to us that she has her favorite humans and doesn't mind pets from them. Zena also gets along super well with other cats and must go to a home that has at least one other cat.
It was found that Zena has some heart problems but with medications it is under-control and may even get better with time. To anyone interested in Zena, we'd give a much more in-depth description of what it entails. Zena is on two heart medications and will most likely need to be on them for a long-time. Ms. Zena is also on a kidney food diet just as some extra support to her kidneys. Zena qualifies for our special needs adoption rate.
Overall though, Zena is a very good girl who deserves to live in a home. Anyone who spends some time with her sees what a beautiful soul she is and she does come around a bit when you spend time with her. Unfortunately since we do have to give her heart medications, it has made her a little less trusting of us. She just needs someone to show her love. If you want to give our Zena a chance, please apply.
Zena is UTD on all vaccinations, spayed, FIV/FELV NEGATIVE and microchipped. To adopt Zena please apply at: https://us08b.sheltermanager.com/service?account=ks1273&method=online_form_html&formid=8
