My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These two cute nuggets were walking smack in the middle of a very busy Houston road dodging traffic. A friend of the rescue was finally able to get them to safety after 30 minutes of coaxing. Both are very sweet and loving. At that point, we were not sure if they were a bonded pair or if they hooked up on the streets, but they have been in their foster home and it is clear that they are very bonded with each other. They walk well on leash and are potty-trained. Pablo Picasso is 7 pounds and Tulip is 14 pounds. Pablo is estimated to be 5-6 years old and Tulip is estimated to be 3-4 years old. Pablo is a Chihuahua mix and we believe Tulip is a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua/Spaniel mix. They are both adorable!

From their foster: These two are the odd couple--Pablo is very serious, but playful and loves to chase Tulip around; he loves to walk on a leash and cuddle. His favorite place is in your lap cuddling against you--he is older, a little more serious but is so VERY VERY sweet. He likes/tolerates other dogs. Tulip is his alter ego--she is a very playful pup and has a bark that is between a whistle and a whine. Tulip loves to run and play and she loves her buddy Pablo. She is very smart and knows' the command "sit" (but doesn't like it) and loves her food- or anyone else's food! Neither of them are terribly fond of cats--but more on the "barky" side than actually harming a cat. We would love if these two buddies could find their forever home together. **Pablo and Tulip are currently in their foster home in Houston, Texas.
