Hello world! My name is Belle. I’ve been hanging out with this rescue for a little while, waiting on my new hair do! Man, I feel good. While my history is totally known I do know a few key things about me to tell you. I’m 11. Yes, 11 and loving life. I still run and play and get around beautifully. I flirt. I love men and I want them to pet me, maybe hold me and tell me I’m pretty. I’m a tiny, little lady, at 9-10#. I am in foster care with other small dogs and cats. We all get along but I tell ya these young-ins need to be told a time or two what good behavior is. I am crate trained but I might sneak into foster dad’s room and snuggle with him all night. I like kids, too. They are great and I can play chase with them while they act like fools.

 

Here’s the deal. I have a condition called Cushing’s. I’m told lots of dogs have it and go undiagnosed. My dr told me not to take medication for it bc the side effects aren’t great and it’s a long process to be monitored on meds. So, what I need? Frequent potty breaks and or a cute little diaper to keep the little dribble off the floor. Mostly just at night. But, that’s me in a nutshell, adorable and ready for my family.
