Hi there! My name is Blanche and I am an adorable gal that is looking for my new family. I was found as a stray and rescued from a shelter in South Carolina in February. I spent 2 months in a foster home before coming to Penny Angels. My foster mom gave me lots of love (and plenty of good food), and when I was ready to travel to New Jersey, she sent me on my way with many hugs and kisses.
I am approx. 9 years old and weigh 24 lbs. You might think of me as a ‘senior’ because of my age, but I’m not a big fan of ‘labels’. If you feel the need to label me, though, I prefer to think of myself as ‘nicely seasoned’. Ahh… nicely seasoned has a much nicer ring to it (and it sounds yummy, too)! I am a very sweet & laid-back gal. When you meet me, you will fall in love with me. Do you see that smile on my face? Happy girl- yep, that’s me! I try not to let things bother me. I spent time with the volunteers on Saturday at PetSmart and they all thought I was a special girl.
Are you looking for a calm beagle? We can cuddle together and watch tv, or I can keep you company while you prepare your home for the Summer months. I like spending time outside soaking up the sunshine and fresh air. I get along well with other dogs and love to play with them! I will snuggle up to my doggie friends, too, and will sometimes use the warmth from their bodies to keep me comfortable. How can you resist my cuteness?
