Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dustin is a very loving boy that loves cuddling, tummy rubs, and being petted as much as possible! He wants to be around people all of the time, and he has done well around children, too. He gets along fine with the other dogs at his foster home, but he has never been introduced to cats so we don't know how he would react toward them.
He is housebroken, crate trained, and has learned the sit, stay, and down commands. He walks well on a leash and is not destructive. His foster mom says he rarely barks unless he's kenneled and knows you are home. He'll bark to let you know he wants to be out with you. His favorite toy is a bone to chew on, and he loves getting a Kong filled with peanut butter as a treat.
His back story is that he was hit by a car and taken to the shelter. His rear hips were badly injured which required surgical repair. Although his hair is still growing back from being shaved for the surgery, he has recovered well and he gets around with no issues now. He runs and plays without any problem.
If you're looking for a very loving companion, please consider Dustin! We think you'll fall in love with him like we have!
