My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oakee was dumped out in the country at a lonely intersection with a buddy. The buddy was only seen once or twice before he disappeared. But Oakee stayed right there waiting for his people, who never came. But some rescuers did come and Oakee was too scared to go with them. But some hot fried chicken in a trap proved too much for hungry Oakee after a few days on his own, and he was brought to safety. He is a sweet, curious, loving puppy who loves to cuddle. He gets along just fine with other dogs, but would be ok as an only dog as well. He can take a moment to warm up to new people, but hasn't yet met anyone he doesn't like after an introduction period. He needs someone who can give him a decent amount of time and attention because he a puppy and still learning his manners. But some time investment should yield you such a good boi doggo. Oakee is just looking for someone to love him forever and he'll absolutely do the same in return.
