If you are looking for a darling lady for a forever friend, Ellie has it all, beauty, brains, good manners, and social graces.
Ellie is a lovely, well-mannered green-eyed lady. She comes to us because her only owner had to move and couldn't keep her. She lived with a young child, a dog, and a cat so she is open to all of these options.
Since coming to live with us, Ellie has been such a good houseguest. She cautiously warmed up without incident to my 3 housecats and several dogs (of various sizes) after only a few days. She stayed in the back bedroom and bathroom area for the first four days and then began to expand to the rest of the house where she has come face to face with everyone. When confronted with any of them, she has calmly asserted herself and moved on.
She has been great about using the kitty pan (doesn't even make a mess unlike some others I won't name here...) and has easily fit into our busy home. She has started to come snuggle with me in bed which her former owner told me is her favorite thing to do, and she has been very kind to my 6 & 3 yr old granddaughters.
She is very sweet and greets me with her cute little raspy voice whenever I approach her. I was told that she doesn't like belly rubs, is good with children of any age but also needs her solitude time too. She is such a perfect lady and somebody is going to be very lucky to have her. She has not displayed any bad habits and has been such a delight with us.
Ellie will be making her first debut in our upcoming Adoption Event sponsored by Maddie's Pet Project NV on June 14 & 15 in Fallon at Maggie's Playhouse Doggie Daycare at 2000 Auction Rd. Better hurry on this one, she's a keeper!
