Carson knows a good thing when he finds it. A lost, stray boy, he was rescued from a kill shelter and taken into a foster home. What did he find there? Caring human companionship, maybe for the first time in his life, and he’s soaking up the love.
Carson is about 6 years old and weighs 35 lbs. He’s a full-grown adult now, but still loves to run and play. We don’t know much about his past. He may have been primarily an outdoor dog, and he does carry a few “scratches and dents” from his old life. Whatever his past may have been, Carson doesn’t let it get in his way. He gets along very well with other dogs and cats, but best of all is time spent with people of all ages. Calm, confident and gentle, the love and attention he’s been getting in his foster home is making him smile all over. He’s moderately active, so daily walks with his special buds will be a joy for him.
Carson is working on crate training and leash walking. He’s already learned to sit, too. He’s just starting with house training; he may not have had chance to learn this in his old life. Patience will be needed to teach him about living inside. Please note that an accident or two may happen until he understands what you need him to do.
He has been neutered, is up to date on all his vaccinations and is ready to go to his forever home.
Carson’s found he likes the good things in life – caring people he can love and who will love him back. Now all he needs is the best thing of all – a special family of his very own.
The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
