My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roger is an approximately 9 y.o male Chi who weighs 9 lbs. He came back with us from Houston and had been previously living in a shelter.

He is a fantastic guy that loves attention and just wants to be loved. He loves to go outside, unless it is raining, and he gets along with the other foster dogs at his current foster mom’s house.

Unfortunately, Roger tested positive for heart worms and will have his 2nd and 3rd treatments the week of 6/24/19.

He is neutered, UTD on shots and on HW preventative. He will need a dental after his HW treatments are complete.

Due to his heart worm status, he will be foster-to-adopt, until a negative HW test comes back in approximately 6 months after his last HW treatment. During his foster-to-adopt time, CRT will pay for all of his shots and other medical needs, if a CRT vet is used. Once a negative HW test has been achieved, a final adoption contract will be emailed to his foster-to-adopt parents and, upon signing, his adoption will be finalized.

His adoption donation is $250.00

If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application.  The link for the application is below.

To submit an application go here......chihuahua-rescue.com/adoption-application/

An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.

Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons.  They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.

Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA MD and GA.
