My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Radar is a fun and sweet dog who cannot wait to find a forever family. She was found as a stray and never reclaimed. Luckily, she found Dog Star, giving her the best chance at finding a family that will love her unconditionally!

Radar is 7 months old and weighs 45 pounds. She is a beautiful red and white shepherd mix. She is estimated to become a medium sized dog when fully grown.

Even at such a young age, Radar is learning all about life. She is the sweetest of pups who loves people, cats, and other dogs.

As with all young pups, Radar will need a home where she can receive lots of attention on her journey to become a fantastic lifelong companion. The perfect family will have the time, patience, and energy to help guide her through lots of exercise, socialization, and positive reinforcement.

All of her house training, crate training, and leash training is in process. A typical 7-month old puppy who is on a proper house training program and getting appropriate exercise and attention, should be able to be crated for about 5 hours. A young pup will need a bathroom break after eating, sleeping, and playing- with a few extra breaks in between. As she continues her leash training it’s important to note that a puppy’s growth plate doesn’t close until 12 months old on average, so a half hour stroll for a pup this age is a good amount of exercise.

A puppy is an open book, and with the right training and guidance it will become an amazing dog.  If you think you have what it takes to give Radar the life she deserves, then please read on.

The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and transport fees.
