Hi, big brawny Ben here, ready to find my new home! I’m a handsome black and white boy who is strong, energetic and charming. I’m about 5 years old and was turned in as a stray, but likely had a home in the past due to my congenial nature. I’m as loving and cuddly as they come, though maybe even more so when you have food! With a loud purr, I’ll wrap myself around your heart—as well as your wrists and your ankles and especially your kitchen! I have a great appetite, mainly for wet food, but I do like the occasional snack of Greenies between mealtimes when I get extra hungry.

I have a thick coat which needs some brushing to keep it silky and smooth. But don’t worry, I won’t mind and will try my best to sit still. I’m energetic and strong, and very bright. If I’m doing something wrong and you say "No" and hold up a hand, I will stop. If you say, "Stay Here," I might not follow you into the bathroom or kitchen…but then again, I might just want to be with you anyways. I am a cat after all, our listening can be a bit subjective. I also sometimes might jump up if you pat the sofa or the chair where you want me to sit. With this energy and smarts, I would do well in a home where I have lots of things to stimulate me and my spirited nature.
Since I’m a big boy, I will need a big lap to stretch out on, and when I do, watch out for my chin bops, I sometimes don’t realize my own strength! It’s hard to resist my loving gaze or not settle in for a good cuddle when I rest a paw gently on your arm – just come and see for yourself!
