My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.

NAME: Chloe
GENDER: Female (Spayed)
AGE: About 5 months
WEIGHT: About 5.5 pounds
DOGS/CATS: Gets along with other small dogs, Unknown with cats
CHILDREN: Should be fine with older, mature children (8 and older)

Introducing adorable Chloe. This tiny girl is adorable and going to capture your heart!

Chloe loves to play. She gets along with other small dogs in her foster home. She has a lot of energy and loves to run and play with them. She also loves to cuddle with them. Chloe loves toys of all kinds. Her favorite toys are chewy toys and squeaky toys. She is so joyful as the plays!

Chloe loves going outside and exploring the yard. She especially enjoys stretching out and sunbathing! Note that Chloe is small and therefore will always need her human near by while she is out (there are instances where hawks or large birds will swoop down and pick up small dogs under 5 pounds, so you will want to be there to protect Chloe). We also want to emphasize that your fence must be very secure. Chloe is so tiny that she can easily slip under the smallest opening in a fence, so she will need to be in a home with a solid, fenced yard. Chloe loves to run and explore, so her home will need to be secure in all aspects.

Chloe loves her humans. She has an outgoing personality and adores everyone she meets. Her tail is constantly wagging and she is so happy to be around you. She loves to cuddle and is super snuggly. This little girl is a velcro dog with her humans. She loves to follow you around the house to see what you are working on. Whatever it is, she wants to be a part of it. Note that she is very active and loves to be right by your feet, so could be a tripping hazard! And she definitely wants to be on your lap while you watch TV in the evenings.

Chloe is tiny - only about 5.5 pounds. She is white with tan highlights. And she has really cute floppy ears. She is about 5 months old and has a lifetime of love to share. Chloe is not a big barker. She would love to have another small dog to play with as she grows up. She would probably be fine as an only dog too as long as her humans gave her lots of love and attention each day.

Chloe is working on her potty training and is almost there. Her foster home has a doggie door and we are training her to use that! She currently sleeps in a soft dog bed inside of an Ex-Pen. We have tried to crate train her, but she cries! We are still working with her, but she may never be comfortable in a crate. We have started leash training and she has learned quickly. Chloe loves walks.
