My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Precious little Amber found herself abandoned at the county kill shelter along with her siblings and her parents. We got them all out of there right away! She shelter is no place for this family! They were all full of fleas and had some flea dermatitis that we have treated and they are now all better. They are very, very cute! Amber, in particular, is so soft and she looks like a baby fox. She is the cutest of the bunch! She also has a very good disposition. We submitted a DNA test for Amber's parents. Her mom came back as a long-haired chihuahua/german shepherd mix. Her dad came back as a long-haired chihuahua/miniature pinscher mix. Both of her parents are around 15 pounds each so we expect these puppies to be around the same weight when fully grown. Given their parents' DNA profiles, we expect these puppies to look like long-haired chihuahuas. Amber's adoption fee is $650 (that includes ground transport from Houston, TX to the Chicago, IL area); however, we will require an additional $100 deposit that will be returned to her adopter upon showing proof of spay when she is old enough to be spayed. Potential adopters MUST fill out a complete application to be considered. **Amber is currently in her foster home in Houston, Texas.
