My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Buddy. I spend most of my time in the basement of a house in Chauncey, OH 45719. Abandoned as a kitten and rescued by a nice man who gave me to his elderly mother, I was fine for a while. Then Mrs. B. died about a year ago, and that nice man and his sister have been here off and on, looking after me the best they can, but neither can take me in. The house will sell soon, so I need a new home. We do not know how he would be with other cats, dogs or kids, but he is super friendly and probably lonely at the moment, so my best guess is that he would be friendly and just fine.

I’m two or three years old, normal weight, with long hair that my new owner will want to brush. (I love to be brushed, and I love to be scratched, too.) I’ve been neutered but not declawed.

I’m a friendly cat. I need someone to love, someone who will love me back. I like to rub up against people’s legs. I’ll get up on your lap if you let me. I like a window seat to look outside, but I’m an inside cat, and I’d like to stay an inside cat. I guess you should also know that I’ve been an only pet up to now.
