My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Layce a is our 4 month old Border Collie mix puppy. She weighs 20 lbs. now so we believe she will be a medium sized dog when grown.

Layce gets along fabulously with the other dogs here at the rescue. If you are looking for a new family member that is FUN then Layce is your girl. She loves to snuggle and just be with you but is active and loves to play.

Oh, and simply one beautiful pup! Her coat is gorgeous. You won't find many like her walking around. The foster family is working on her potty training.

If you are interested in giving Layce a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

The application can also be downloaded from our website www.merceranimalrescue.org

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.

Layce's adoption donation is $525 which helps to cover her spaying, series of three puppy shots, bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.

ALL OUR DOGS START THEIR JOURNEY IN TENNESSEE

Layce is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to her new family once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast. Pick up is available in VA, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, VT. We use PETS, LLC. www.petsllc.net

We make monthly trips to Chicago to bring the dogs adopted to to their new homes in the mid-west. The next transport to Chicago is July 14, 2019.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
