Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mr. Macduff is one hilarious little doggie! It is nearly impossible to look at him and not feel the corners of your mouth move up into a smile.. he walks with confidence.. ears, tail and head up with his chest out ready for the next adventure to come his way! We do believe he is some sort of cairn terrier mix. His coat is lusciously smooth and long but don't let his long locks fool you, Macduff does indeed shed!! Mac seems to have lots of quintessential terrier qualities.. independent yet affectionate and SO loving; bold yet endearing and always HAPPY!! Especially if you're a terrier fan, you will no doubt adore Mr. Mac!
Macduff is definitely an active boy.. but certainly not the bouncing off the walls type.. He does get super excited for his walks, bouncing his front feet up and down letting out anticipotory grunts! SO CUTE!! Outside time with his doggy friends is his fav.. you will most likely see Macduff walking with his posse of littles! These walks are a very important part of the day for him so a home with a walking routine would suit him perfectly! On his walks he is out in front on the leash taking in all the world has to offer him and totally enjoys exploring new places! He'll pee on every tree, show his tough terrier-ness to passing dogs and bounce along with his fur flowing on the wind!
Mac gets along with most dogs.. calm and indifferent temperaments suit him best! While the higher energy, puppy, in your face types ruffle his feathers a bit! Rightfully so! He could absolutely live with another dog that fits his style.
We also do know Mac's history.. he was given up after being owned his whole life by the same person because they were moving and decided he didn't fit into their plans anymore. How sad for Macduff! You can absolutely tell he has lived in a home before. Mac is no stranger to the couch or the famous bum scratch! Guaranteed when you meet him, he'll greet you then swoop and lean in for one a scratch on his tush! He'll even do the bum scratch dance!! And when you ask him for a sit, he happily sits then pops up his front legs in a begging pose. Someone obviously tough him that trick!
Either way, we are delighted to have Macduff here with us we know he'll fill someones heart with pure joy as he did ours!!
