Athena is a young (about 1.5 years old), stunning Akita/Husky also known as a "Huskita" who gave birth to 8 puppies on or about June 1st while in the home of a private party. She was surrendered to a high intake shelter on June 16 with her puppies and has been in rescue since then receiving the best of care while she cares for her puppies.

Athena is a calm, confident, smart Mama dog and is very affectionate. She is low energy and very playful. Athena's puppies - 4 females and 4 males - have their own unique personality. Some have brown/gray/blue eyes and others have beautiful ocean-blue colored eyes.

Puppies will each be available for adoption soon on or about the weekend of July 20th or 27th.

Akita Angels is located in Southern California. We do not ship dogs. All animals are spayed and neutered before being adopted, and puppies may be released on a Spay/Neuter Trust Agreement and an additional deposit. All animals are vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped and health checked before adoption Akita Angels is an IRS approved 501C3 animal-welfare organization.
