My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lily
If you look up "sweetheart" in the dictionary, lily's picture would be there. She has a gentle and playful heart. She loves to play fight with dogs and people. She had beautiful, soulful eyes that just capture you. She would be an amazing dog for a family with kids over 5. She's very strong, so some good leash training and maybe a strong person in the family to take her on walks would be most successful? lily would also do well with a family who often had someone home so she can have potty breaks and not be alone too much. She has some anxiety when her people are away(she truly lives her people and protects her family) and does best when given stimulating toys or treats when people are gone.

Lily loves other dogs and doesn't care to be alpha, but rather is completely content to be beta for all, she just wants to play or lay near. Lily would be a great companion for another dog.

Lily has "lap dog in a big dog body" syndrome, and doesn't always realize her strength or size.

Lily has the best teenage girl look and she'll give it to you when she knows what you want from her, but she's not feeling it. She may still follow through, but she wants you to know it's not her first choice... it's quite hilarious to see!

Lily loves to be close with her family and would prefer to be up on the couch and in the bed if she can get a hand up into it(although she can get into the car or bed herself, she prefers someone else lifting her.)

Lily is young, full of life, and deserves a family that is ready and able to spend time with her. If you give her that chance, she'll quickly become family- it's really impossible to not fall in love with sweet lily, she's been a heart melter from the beginning.
If interested in meeting this Beautiful girl, please contact Sandy, or respond by e-mail - Lily will LOVE you for it! We will also need you to fill out our adoption survey . Lily requires an above ground fence for safe play and exercise. We are looking for homes in the surrounding Pittsburgh area. For more information please contact Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization or visit our web page http://www.swpapyr.org for more information.
