My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Scottie! Scottie came to us through our transport contact from Southern Illinois. Scottie was surrendered by his owners with a collar already embedded into his neck. Although he must have been somewhat neglected in his previous home, he is not the least bit bothered by it! He is one of the most upbeat and sweetest dogs you would meet! He is outgoing and affectionate towards people and playful with other dogs. Scottie is truly a sweet soul and has shown the potential to be an excellent family member in his short time with us.

We were told Scottie is half Australian Shepherd and half Australian Cattle Dog, which are two breeds that require a good amount of exercise. However, Scottie settles well when left alone and appears to be house trained since he keeps his kennel very clean. He also travels well and is calm in the car. He has enjoyed playgroup with other dogs and engaging in a good game of chase with his favorite buddy. He does very well with female dogs and would prefer to be in a home without any dominant male dogs, as he is quite the confident boy. Scottie is an overall fun dog that would benefit from an active home that will keep him occupied and challenged, although he is very easy and biddable to train.

Scottie is currently undergoing training and socialization with Found Training Center as part of his preparation for the perfect home. He is UTD on shots and is available to fully adopt after he is neutered. Scottie's adoption fee comes with a FREE group class at Found Training Center along with access to our team of professionals for lifetime training advice. Come meet this fun, active, and adventurous pup today and see if he's the one for you.
