My name is Jackie and I'm the favorite girl here at the kill shelter where I am running out of time. These folks at Before the Bridge are trying to help me out of that situation but we need help from you too.

I am three (3) years old and as you can see from my picture, I've had puppies but I won't be doing that anymore. I love people and am very friendly as long as there aren't any more dogs around. But I am VERY DOG AGGRESSIVE!! I MUST be the only dog in the household but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't be a great companion for you and your family.

I am light heartworm positive but the vet says that we are going to treat it by giving me HeartGuard every month. I started in January and that should keep those nasty worms under control until they die.

Please give me a chance!
