Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Juniper (about 8 and a half months old as of 6/11/19) is a spayed female brown tabby tuxedo shorthaired kitten. Juniper and her sister Willow were born in a feral colony in Waukegan late last year. Their caretaker let the ferals come into his garage for shelter and so being kittens they started warming up to their food provider. By the time winter was winding down and he called to have them fixed Juniper was already starting to enjoy being petted so a foster offered to work with them to see if they could get them adoptable. Juniper hasn't made leaps and bounds of progress the last few months since she went into foster care, but since she was already semi friendly she is still doing pretty well. She is a little more initially cautious than her sister but when she lets her guard down she will even roll around for belly rubs. She loves being petted and getting treats. She is okay with being held briefly but it's not her favorite thing. She does great with other cats, especially her sister, but because of her shy nature we think a quiet home without dogs or small children would be better for her. NO ADOPTION FEE DURING CLEAR THE SHELTER WEEK AUG 11-18 for cats over 6 mo old
