Morris has had a difficult start to life. As a young kitten, he was found trying to survive along railroad tracks. Someone took him in with good intentions, but unfortunately Morris never received proper veterinary care and was allowed to roam outside unattended. During that time he was attacked by other cats and ended up with injuries that needed treatment.
Thankfully, a Save the Cats Inc. volunteer learned about his situation and stepped in to help. When we spoke with the person caring for him, they shared that they were unable to keep Morris long term. STC was able to bring him to our veterinarian where he received the care he needed. His wounds were treated, and he was neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV.
Since then, Morris has been recovering safely in foster care and is now ready to find the loving home he deserves.
Morris is a very friendly boy who enjoys human attention, but he can sometimes become overstimulated and may give a quick snap when he has had enough. Because of this, he would do best in a home without small children and with people who understand cat body language.
He would likely be happiest in a safe indoor or indoor/outdoor environment.
After everything he has been through, Morris is ready for someone to be his hero and give him the safe, stable forever home he has been waiting for.
