My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rose is a very young ( 10 months-1 year ) female Akita who came to us after her breeder no longer wanted her. He was "done" breeding and left this young girl at a vets office to be euthanized. Thank goodness the vet reached out to us for help and we took Rose and her sister Gypsy into our rescue. Recently Rose was bitten by another dog while being boarded, and sadly she lost a few toes. She still has her foot and pad and Rose is currently recovering from her ordeal and doing great. She will be looking for a home and or foster home so she can fully heal.Do you have what it takes to help sweet Rose? This girl adores children! Rides well in the car and if needed can be crated.
