My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Terrific Tala is ready to find her forever family, and she wants her new people to know these 10 things about her:

1. I am a Rottweiler and I am about 2 years old.

2. Like many dogs of my breed, I can be wary of strangers, and I need to be introduced to new people and visitors slowly.

3. Once I get to know them, I love people. I think I would do well in a home with children, as long as they weren’t too loud or rambunctious.

4. I like going for rides in cars, hanging with my people, and taking naps!

5. I haven’t had much experience with small dogs, so I’m not sure how I feel about living with them.

6. Before I came to the Bullpen, I was best friends with a male husky. It would be great if my new family had a big male dog that I could play with, but I also wouldn’t mind being the only pet.

7. I am very curious about cats in all the wrong ways, so a feline-free home would definitely be best.

8. I think the words that best describe me are friendly, affectionate, playful and happy.

9. I am good on a leash and crate-trained, even though I don’t love going in there. I am also housebroken and I am learning basic obedience!

10. I am current on vaccinations, microchipped, HW- and spayed.

Ready to give Tala the forever home of her dreams? Fill out our Adoption Application, located at www.bullpenrescue.org under the 'work with us' tab.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
