My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We aren't really sure why Skye has not yet been adopted. She is the last one of her litter left and she is absolutely precious! Skye had found herself abandoned at the county kill shelter along with her siblings and her parents. The rescue got them all out of there to save them from being euthanized for space. Skye is a quiet little girl when she is relaxing, but she loves to play and is happy and excited to see her foster mom when she comes home. She also loves to play with dog toys and she loves to chew on bully slices. We submitted a DNA test for Skye's parents. Her mom came back as a long-haired chihuahua/german shepherd mix. Her dad came back as a long-haired chihuahua/miniature pinscher mix. Both of her parents are around 15 pounds each so we expect her to be around the same weight when fully grown. We would love to find Skye the perfect home. She is a favorite with the vets and vet techs at our vet's office. Skye's adoption fee is $650 (that includes ground transport from Houston, TX to the Chicago, IL area). She has been fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped so she is ready to go! Potential adopters MUST fill out a complete application to be considered. Transport is arranged to adopter upon finalizing the adoption. **Skye is currently in her foster home in Houston, Texas.
