My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is an approximately 1.5 year old hound mix. She is on the smaller side, around 30 pounds, spayed, UTD on vaccinations and on monthly preventative. Rosie had a litter of puppies at a young age and was voluntarily surrendered to our local APL. It was learned that she was abused by her previous owner and because of that, she is nervous around adult men. She does not show ANY aggression towards men, just avoids. We are working with her on this and trying medication and training to help build her confidence around men. Rosie absolutely loves other dogs, goings for hikes, and car rides. She has gone camping with her foster family and had a blast. She would do best in a quieter home but also one that takes her to explore or lay around in the yard. She currently is the only dog in her foster home but has weekly play dates and walks with a larger 60 lb dog and has a blast.
