Hi! I’m Eugene an 8 month old Coonhound mix.

I am the sweetest, most loving dog this side of Missouri.

I love everything! Children, dogs and cats! And, boy, am I the most playful pup there ever was! I have lots of energy; I definitely love my foster siblings and would probably love to have siblings (cat, dog, or child) at my new home!

I learn very fast, especially if there are treats involved. I have already learned how to sit! I still have night time accidents and my mom is working on that. I wouldn’t completely trust me to have no accidents but I’m getting better at holding it, every day! I’ll have it down in no time! And, should I mention again, I love learning with treats.

I love to go on walks with my mom and my siblings. I’m so good on a leash that my mom sometimes has to double up the leash so it doesn’t drag on the ground and me step on it! I love chewing on dog bones, that’s when I’m the calmest. They are my peaceful place! But don’t hesitate to feed me some peanut butter every once in awhile, I love it too!

I’m going to make such a good best friend to a lucky family. I’d make the perfect hunting partner, don’t forget I’m a coonhound, or the perfect family man!

My mom is going to be so sad to see me go but I can’t wait to find my new forever home.
