Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lady has been in foster care and is doing wonderful. She was a bit hesitant at first but is quite comfortable now. She will make a wonderful all around family companion. She is completely housebroken and crate trained. She rides well in the car and enjoys her walks on a leash. She sits nicely for a treat and has learned the command down also. She gets along with other dogs but may a bit hesitant at first with a bigger dog but gets over it pretty quickly when she realizes they are not a threat. She was introduced to a cat and two kittens today and they made her a little apprehensive and after a couple of barks she did not attempt to chase. She weighs approximately 20 lbs. and at her age of ten months will not expected to grow much more.
She enjoys her toys and will fetch a toy for short spells. She has not shown any sigs of being destructive. She just wants company of her family and is quite content to be by their side. She does not have access to a fenced in area now and is walked two or three times a day but she sure would love to have time to run in a fenced in area.
When Lady was spayed it was discovered she only had one kidney. BHS had further blood work and urine testing to be sure her other kidney is functioning fine which it is. Lady has also been dewormed, microchipped, tested for heart worm and is on preventative for heart worm. She has also received the Distemper-Parvo combination vaccine and also had a second booster, and also kennel cough vaccine and rabies vaccine. Her adoption fee to help cover a small portion of all is $175.
